Rich Hawthorne of Clearview Artworks Specializing in cold glass working I utilize traditional methods of cutting, shaping and fabricating my designs into windows and ornaments. Using sandcarving techniques for etching and shading layers of glass I create glass art which I then paint and gild with gold. My designs range from traditional English patterns to Asian influences of calligraphy and classical art. All work is done exclusively by me A picture of a piece is attached for your use. It is a jewelry box I made with a glass top, carved, gilded and painted. [ E-Mail ]

It has been written that the entire continent of Africa is covered in beads. You can find them anywhere, abandoned and forgotten, buried in a cemetery, in a riverbed, or on the seashore. African blues from Nigeria, ostrich shell discs from Kenya, old silver from Yemen; face and feather glass beads from Saudi Arabia; from Morocco, prayer beads. This is my inspiration, this is my art, this is my jewelry. [ E-Mail ]

Mike Hill Somewhere between realism and impressionism would best describe my watercolor paintings. I call it "Realism with an Attitude." While I paint special florals, special automobiles and cityscapes; I'm most happy when I paint special people in our own area. I love to recreate history and memories, especially when  those memories are here in Gresham and East County. Mike Hill [ E-Mail ] [ Web Site ]

Deborah Hilleary I enjoy the challenge of creating attractive and durable handbags with fine quality fabrics and artful embellishments. Each handbag is meticulously constructed with a reinforced, comfortable shoulder strap, multiple pockets and a magnetic snap closure. In 2007 I introduced my new collection of handbags made with recycled necktie silk and fabric swatches. I feel strongly that using these high-quality recycled fabrics is important to the environment and in keeping down the cost to the consumer.

Cynthia M.W. Holloway (d.b.a. Cynthesis Studio) Originally a traditional transparent watercolor painter, (B.A. in Fine Art,) I now add acrylic, ink and/or collage to explore ideas in a more textural and abstract vocabulary. My paintings are still inspired by Nature, and whether obviously echoing the environment or more intuitively expressing a perception in colors and shapes, my ideal is always a painting that draws you to look again and discover a moment of harmony, energy, beauty.
